About Us

The Greyhound Adoption League of South Florida is an independent, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. Established in 1998, we've been helping to find homes for retired Greyhounds for over ten years and we have more than 25 years of experience caring for them. To date, we've found loving homes for more than four hundred dogs and with ample room in our private kennel, we're still out there rescuing dogs in need of a caring family.

All of our greyhounds have had a full medical checkup, are spayed or neutered, and have had a full dental checkup with teeth cleaning prior to being available for adoption. They are all personable & friendly, and whilst living in our kennels they interact with and spend one-on-one time with both people and other animals.
